built-in game that provides an easy way for kids to play with each other. The lid of the lunchbox contains a fully sealed puck game, and connected magnetic pens are used to send the pucks to the opponent’s side.

Project description:
Designed and built a modified version of the board game Up the River called Mystery Mart.
Players push carts through store aisles collecting blind-box character cards with different rarity tiers. While players can see the category or color of a box, they do not know the exact rarity value of the card until checkout, creating anticipation and risk as they collect items. The game was playtested twice and iterated based on player behavior, leading to rule changes that increased suspense, chance, and strategic decision-making.
